Summary of the 7th edition of the Warsaw Oldtimer Show

On August 30, 2020, the special edition of the Warsaw Oldtimer Show ended. For the seventh time, Ptak Warsaw Expo was for two days a meeting place for automotive enthusiasts who, as every year, could feast their eyes on unique classic and vintage vehicles. The seventh edition of the Largest Historic Vehicle Fair in Poland, due to the coronavirus pandemic, was organized outside at the Expo halls.

Exceptionally, for the first time in the history of the Warsaw Oldtimer Show, several hundred vintage cars left the exhibition halls to the parking lot next to the Expo halls, so that visitors, in comfortable and safe conditions, could admire an exhibition worth even several dozen million euros. Despite the difficult situation related to the pandemic, 12,000 automotive enthusiasts appeared at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The Warsaw Oldtimer Show was the largest outdoor event in Poland held in 2020.

During the fair, participants could see Automotive Legends, the sight and sound of which give the chills of the greatest enthusiasts. The exhibition was rich in vehicles from the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as those from the 80’s and 70’s and older. In the parking lot Between August 20 and 30, at the Ptak Warsaw Expo the iconic 190 in various variations and a number of other Mercedes-Benz models, as well as the legendary BMW, Ford Mustang, Corvette, Triumph, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari Testarosa models were parked. In addition to classic cars that used to move on the streets in the past, there were also those that could once only be seen on the racetrack and specialized cars. The Warsaw Oldtimer Show is also a treat for those who prefer two-wheelers. Many interesting specimens could be found in the area of historic motorcycles.

The Historic Vehicle Fair at Ptak Warsaw Expo is not only about beautiful vehicles, but also detailing shows, vintage vehicle exchange or a Vintage Mustang Rally and Classicauto Cup, i.e. classic races. Visitors, despite the gloomy and sometimes rainy weather, with enthusiasm stood next to the presented vehicles, took photos with their favorite models and took advantage of the opportunity to take seats behind the wheel of cars that were and are the dream of many.
